Job summary

Brown + Kubican, PSC is seeking a detail-oriented BIM Technician in Louisville, KY to support project managers and engineers in creating construction documents. You will develop 3D models and 2D details using Revit and help maintain drafting standards.

The role requires an associate’s degree or 1 year Revit experience (5 years preferred), plus strong communication and organizational skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office setting.

Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented BIM Technician to support project managers and engineers in the preparation of construction documents. This role involves close collaboration with team members to create 3D models and 2D details using Revit. Responsibilities also include assisting in the development and upkeep of typical details and company drafting standards.

Job Requirements

• + Associate’s Degree in Architectural/Engineering Technology (2-year) or a minimum of 1 year of Revit modeling experience; 5 years preferred
• + Experience producing construction documents consisting of plans, sections, smart schedules, and details in 2D and 3D
• + Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with team members
• + High level of organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail
• + Must be able to meet deadlines in a demanding environment
