Job summary

Morrison Construction Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Revit & Stratus Technician to develop accurate 3D models, fabrication drawings, and coordinated construction documents for piping and mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in BIM/VDC, strong piping knowledge, and proficiency in Revit and Stratus workflows. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field personnel to meet project schedules and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed Revit and Stratus 3D models for piping and mechanical systems.

• Coordinate models with structural, architectural, electrical, and other MEP disciplines.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy, constructability, and potential conflicts.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Revit & Stratus Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with Revit and Stratus, with strong piping and mechanical systems experience.

This position will be responsible for developing accurate 3D models, fabrication drawings, and coordinated construction documents for piping and mechanical systems. The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, technically proficient, and comfortable working in a collaborative design and engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed Revit and Stratus 3D models for piping and mechanical systems.


• Develop accurate fabrication and installation drawings from project specifications and design documents.


• Model piping systems, equipment, fittings, supports, and related components.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in BIM/VDC, Revit, mechanical detailing, or a related field.


• Piping experience is required.


• Strong proficiency with Autodesk Revit.


• Experience with Stratus and its fabrication/detailing workflows.


• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, piping, and construction drawings.


• Knowledge of piping systems, fittings, valves, equipment, and supports.


• Understanding of BIM coordination and clash detection.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate models and drawings.


• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams.
