Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced Revit & Stratus Technician in the Chicago metro region for a 100% onsite role in Hammond, IN. You will develop and coordinate detailed 3D models for piping and mechanical systems, producing fabrication drawings from project specs and documents.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in BIM/VDC, strong Revit and Stratus expertise, and the ability to work with multiple teams to address coordination and constructability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional BIM/VDC experience in piping or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Stratus workflows.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, piping, and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed 3D models in Revit and Stratus for piping and mechanical systems.

We are looking for an experienced BIM Technician with strongRevit & Stratus background to support the development and coordination ofdetailed piping and mechanical systems.
Job Title: Revit& Stratus Technician
Location: Hammond,IN (100% onsite, local candidates only)
Job Type: Permanent/ Direct Hire

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed 3D models inRevit and Stratus for piping and mechanical systems
  
• Create fabrication and installation drawings usingproject specifications, construction documents, and engineering information
  
• Model piping, equipment, fittings, supports, valves,and other related mechanical components
  
• Coordinate mechanical and piping models withstructural, architectural, electrical, and other MEP disciplines
  
• Review models and drawings for accuracy,constructability, completeness, and potential conflicts
  
• Perform clash detection and make necessary adjustmentsto address coordination and modeling issues
  
• Read and interpret construction documents, engineeringdrawings, and project specifications
  
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers,detailers, and field personnel throughout the project
  
• Update models and drawings to reflect designrevisions, project changes, and field conditions
  
• Follow established project standards, modelingpractices, and file organization procedures
  
• Complete assignedwork within project schedules while maintaining a high level of accuracy andquality
  

Requirements

• Education – Relevant education or technical trainingin BIM/VDC, mechanical design, drafting, construction, or a related disciplineis preferred
• BIM Technician – At least 5 years of professionalexperience in BIM/VDC, mechanical detailing, piping, or a related field; able to read andinterpret mechanical, piping, and construction drawings; understands BIMcoordination and clash detection; able to produce accurate models and drawings
• Autodesk Revit – Must have strong proficiency
• Stratus– Experience required, including strong knowledge of its fabrication/detailingworkflows
• Piping – Professional experience and solid understandingof pipingsystems, fittings, valves, equipment, and supports
• Soft Skills – Able towork independently while collaborating effectively with project teams; strong attention todetail, can work well with technical and non-technical teams and projectstakeholders
