Job summary

GBA in Lenexa, KS seeks a BIM Specialist to manage project setup, maintenance, and model health across multiple design/construction phases. You’ll coordinate with architects, engineers, and builders to ensure clean, clash-free models and deliverables, while advancing BIM standards across projects.

The role emphasizes developing BIM Execution Plans, maintaining model health, and supporting cloud collaboration and data extraction.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of BIM experience in Architecture/MEP/Structural.
• Experience creating parametric Revit families with formulas and conditional statements.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and CAD workflows such as AutoCAD.
• Plant 3D experience is strongly desired.
• Ability to perform quality checks on own and others' work.
• Passion for BIM and its impact on design and construction productivity.

Responsibilities

• Leads BIM kickoff meetings and communicates modeling standards and workflows.
• Develops BIM Execution Plans aligned with project standards.
• Coordinates with architecture, engineering, and construction teams.
• Performs clash detection and supports issue resolution.
• Generates model-based deliverables, visualizations, and extractions.
• Manages model updates and design change integration.
