Job summary

RLF is seeking a BIM Specialist in Orlando to advance data-driven project delivery. You will support BIM strategy, standards, and implementation across healthcare and federal projects, collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction or related field.
• 5 years supporting enterprise BIM process implementation.
• 5 years of experience in the AEC industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with COBie and structured data deliverables.
• Working knowledge of industry standards, including government/military requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement and meet BIM data requirements with project teams.
• Support BIM project setup and implementation plans.
• Ensure compliance with BIM data standards and naming conventions.
• Coordinate BIM workflows across disciplines to optimize delivery.
• Conduct BIM data quality control reviews throughout project phases.
• Audit models to ensure accuracy and standards compliance.
• Lead regular project reviews to reinforce BIM protocols.
• Evaluate third-party tools and technology for productivity gains.
• Lead BIM troubleshooting and documentation efforts.
• Assist in developing BIM Management and Project Execution Plans.
• Partner with Project Managers to implement cloud-based BIM collaboration.

The BIM Specialist plays a key role in advancing data-driven project delivery by supporting BIM strategy, standards, and implementation across projects. This role partners closely with project teams and internal stakeholders to ensure BIM data integrity, interoperability, and alignment with firm and industry standards.

In this role you will

• Collaborate with project teams to define, implement, and meet BIM data requirements.
• Support BIM project setup and implementation plans.

• Conduct regular project reviews to reinforce adherence to BIM protocols and expectations.
• Evaluate and support management of third-party tools and technology for productivity improvements.
• Conduct regular project reviews to reinforce adherence to BIM protocols and expectations.
• Lead BIM-related troubleshooting and documentation efforts.
• Assist in developing BIM Management and Project Execution Plans.
• Partner with Project Managers to implement and support cloud-based BIM collaboration environments.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, or a related field.
• 5 years supporting enterprise-wide BIM process implementation.
• 5 years experience within the AEC industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit
• Experience working with COBie and structured data deliverables
• Working knowledge of industry standards, including those required by government agencies and clients.
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated client service mindset and strong interpersonal communication. Skills

Amount of Travel Required

This position may require occasional travel, some of which may be international.
