Purpose

The BIM Specialist is responsible for changing and creating project drawings.

Essential Duties include the following

• Complies with all company safety policies
• Works with existing Architect drawings and makes necessary revisions for projects
• Creates new drawing designs from concept
• Works with Project Manager on site visits; measures building layouts
• Works with engineering team to assist in design/build
• Understands and performs 3-D coordination via Revit and Navisworks
• Provides and creates detailed shop drawings for installation
• Performs other duties as assigned

QualificationsQualifications/Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Computer Drafting or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Competence in Microsoft office products, AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks
