Job summary

Kenny Electric is seeking a BIM Specialist to create and revise project drawings from architect plans, and to develop new designs from concept. You will coordinate 3-D models using Revit and Navisworks and deliver detailed shop drawings for installation.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate’s Degree in Computer Drafting and strong skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and MS Office. On-site work and collaboration with the engineering team are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Computer Drafting or equivalent.
• Competence in Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
• Strong organizational, file and data management skills.
• Good communication skills, including verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise project drawings from Architect drawings.
• Produce new drawing designs from concept.
• Coordinate 3-D drawings via Revit and Navisworks.
• Provide detailed shop drawings for installation.
• Assist Project Manager on on-site visits and measure building layouts.
• Collaborate with engineering team on design/build efforts.
