Job summary

McKenney's Inc. seeks a BIM Project Engineer in Atlanta, GA to join our team for a 9–12 month entry-level position designed to expose individuals to McKenney's processes, capabilities, and scope of work.

As part of a team, you will gain experience in preconstruction, design, virtual construction, fabrication workflows, and field installations, with opportunities to advance to Assistant Project Manager or BIM Project Manager roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant construction/engineering focus.
• 1–2 years of project management experience overseeing technicians.
• Alternative: 5+ years of internal experience with plumbing, piping, or HVAC systems in office or field.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in preconstruction, design and virtual construction processes.
• Coordinate BIM work with customers and other trades.
• Assist in estimating projects and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Work with field installation teams and support project managers.
