Job summary

Gallo Mechanical LLC in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a Revit Plumbing Detailer to create detailed 3D models of plumbing systems and develop precise 2D/3D construction documents.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects and project teams to interpret specifications, resolve design issues, and ensure compliance with codes and BIM standards. Proficiency in Revit, strong attention to detail, and site-visit data gathering are required.

Qualifications

• This role requires proficiency in Revit for detailed 3D plumbing models.
• Strong knowledge of BIM processes and piping design principles.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drawings and models.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Field experience with site visits to verify conditions.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of plumbing systems using Revit.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and team members to meet project requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Address and resolve design issues within the Revit environment.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct site visits to collect data and verify conditions for accurate modeling.
• Prepare material take-offs and bills of materials.
• Communicate design concepts and updates effectively.
