Job summary

Gallo Mechanical LLC is seeking a Revit Pipe Detailer to create detailed 3D piping models and collaborate with engineers and architects. You will interpret technical specs, verify data during site visits, and ensure compliance with industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes accurate modeling, BOM preparation, and clear communication of design updates. Proficiency in Revit and BIM processes is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit for creating detailed 3D models of piping systems.
• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes.
• Familiarity with piping design principles, including system layouts and components.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings and models.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills to address and resolve design issues.
• Understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Field experience with site visits to gather data and verify conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of trade coordination between HVAC, piping, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of piping systems using Revit
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to meet project requirements
• Interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and other technical specifications
• Address and resolve design issues within the Revit environment
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Conduct site visits to gather data and verify conditions for accurate modeling
• Prepare material take-offs and bills of materials
• Communicate design concepts and updates effectively
