Job summary

Power Plumbing in Texas is seeking a skilled VDC Operator to create and maintain 3D plumbing models using Revit, support BIM/VDC coordination, and produce shop drawings for multifamily projects. The ideal candidate will have strong Revit skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read construction documents while collaborating with the team to meet tight deadlines.

This on-site role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks, plus experience coordinating MEP fabrications on complex

Qualifications

• 2+ years BIM/VDC modeling and coordination experience, preferably on plumbing or MEP projects.
• Ability to produce accurate shop drawings under supervision.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings and identifying coordination issues.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain 3D plumbing models using Revit for BIM coordination and shop drawing production.
• Assist with material takeoffs and quantity tracking using Revit.
• Read and understand construction documents.
• Help prepare RFIs as needed.
• Coordinate with plumbing designer, project manager and field team to support project execution.
• Participate in coordination efforts and assist with clash detection.
• Work on multiple plumbing projects while meeting deadlines.
• Follow project schedules, company standards, and BIM/VDC procedures.
• Maintain organized project files, BIM models, and documentation.
