Job summary

AECOM is seeking a BIM Specialist to join our Atlanta, GA team. You will develop, coordinate, and manage BIM deliverables for water and wastewater projects, focusing on piping systems and Revit-based modeling.

The ideal candidate will have strong Revit skills, piping design experience, and knowledge of BIM standards. You will mentor junior staff, support project teams, and ensure models and documentation are accurate and delivered on schedule.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree plus 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Proficient in Revit and piping design/modeling and other BIM software and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and manage BIM deliverables for water and wastewater projects, with emphasis on piping systems and Revit-based modeling.
• Provide training and technical support to design staff on BIM, including Revit and 3D piping/model development.
• Deliver project support and production, creating drawings using BIM standards and content for pumps, pipes, piping systems, equipment and other model elements.
• Perform complex Revit or CAD assignments and coordinate drawing production for BIM workflows.
• Digitize or trace sketches using Revit, AutoCAD, or MicroStation; ensure accuracy and adherence to project specs.
• Lead CAD coordination on assigned projects and mentor staff on technical skills and BIM workflows.
• QA/QC BIM and Revit models, resolve conflicts across piping, mechanical, structural, civil disciplines.
