Job summary

Ambitus Research is looking for experienced BIM modelers to contribute to a high-priority research project. This remote contract position focuses on translating 2D architectural (A) and structural (S) drawings into 3D IFC building models.

You will provide prior 2D sheets and model files (IFC or Revit) for compensation and may receive additional hourly opportunities for modeling and quality review. Applicants should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or architecture and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior experience in producing architectural and/or structural drawings for complex buildings.
• Proficient in creating 3D IFC models using ArchiCAD or Revit.

• Create accurate 3D IFC models based on technical drawings.

The project will center on translating 2D technical architectural (A) and structural (S) drawing sheets into 3D IFC building models.

You’ll be asked to provide prior building drawing (A and S sheets) and model file (IFC or Revit format) pairs for compensation and may receive additional opportunities for hourly work involving modeling and quality review.
