Job summary

Neilsoft Inc. in Canton, MI is seeking a BIM Modeler - Electrical to join our North America team on a fulltime, onsite basis. You will model electrical systems in Revit MEP, coordinate with trades, and prepare shop drawings while working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

This role supports our AEC/BIM practice with opportunities for advancement and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Formal college diploma / degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks for BIM modeling.
• LOD 300/400 modeling experience for design/trade models.
• Knowledge of electrical construction and shop drawings creation.
• Experience with Common data environments and cross‑functional collaboration.

Formal college diploma / degree and / or relevant trade / professional experience, Electrical Engineering (preferred)

Required Skills & Experience:

• Engineers with experience with Autodesk Revit MEP and Autodesk Navisworks. Experience with Evolve will be an added advantage.
• Experience with modeling at LOD 300/ 400 for design / trade models
• Experience in Electrical construction & shop drawings creation/Documentation.
• Basic knowledge of constructability
• Experience of working on Common data environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Clash co-ordination tools like – BIMTRACK, BIM 360 issues, Revitzo, Newforma etc.
• Knowledge of mostly used Electrical Engineering design concepts, practices, & procedures.
• Experience with modelling of Electrical LV & ELV services
• Experience in Electrical construction & shop drawings creation/Documentation.
• Experience in Electrical equipment & services hanger/support modelling.
• Experience in reading & interpreting material submittals ( Cut sheets) for equipment's & Electrical services materials
• Experience in Parametric Revit Family creation.
