Job summary

HDR in Omaha, NE is seeking a BIM Model Coordinator to manage the digital model environment and deliverables across the project. You will collaborate with Digital Delivery Leads to execute plans and ensure accurate coordination of multidisciplinary models.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree with BIM element authoring experience, strong communication, and hands‑on skills with 3‑D design software and document management systems.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or a combination of education and related industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systems.
• Advanced skillset in 3‑D design software and document management infrastructure.
• Advanced skillset in 3‑D coordination tools.
• Advanced skillset in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
• Familiarity with industry standards, practices, discipline codes, and specifications.
• Familiarity with basic automation and programming applications for efficiencies.
• Familiarity with 3‑D design software add‑ins and supporting applications.
• Familiarity with content creation and management concepts.
• Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the digital model environment and deliverables for an entire project.
• Understand how all disciplines interact and how construction documents are produced.
• Work directly with advanced Digital Delivery Leads to execute digital deliverables outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP).
• Initiate the project by establishing server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the project scope.
• Execute digital deliverables and support the production team throughout the project duration.
• Provide technical support and communicate the deliverable schedule to the project team.
• Monitor the model health and coordination processes from planning through issue of construction documents.
• Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the project team to ensure quality control.
