Job summary

Cundall is seeking a BIM Manager to lead BIM on data centre and international projects from our Warsaw office. You will coordinate BIM models for MEP design, review interfaces, and drive standardisation across teams.

You will manage model setup, clash detection, and data exchange, while contributing to automation and process improvements within a collaborative, international environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive BIM coordination experience in MEP projects.
• Proficient in Revit and related BIM workflows.
• Experience with clash detection and model coordination.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM Execution Plans.

Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate BIM models and drawings for RIBA Stages 2-4 MEP design.
• Manage BIM models from setup to final issue with asset data integration (COBie, IFC, Uniclass).
• Review models and run clash detection; provide coordination reports to engineers.
• Contribute to automation developments for Revit and BIM within the team.
• Write and review BIM Execution Plans detailing responsibilities and deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians and BIM leads across disciplines.

We have an exciting opportunity for a BIM Manager to join our growing team in Warsaw, leading BIM on prestigious data centre projects around Europe and internationally.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented BIM manager to join our team at our office in Warsaw to produce & coordinate BIM models & drawings for RIBA Stages 2-4 MEP Design for a wide range of exciting local & international building projects.

As part of our established team of expert engineers, technicians & BIM managers, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will develop coordinated BIM models & drawings following Cundall’s templates & design standards. You will also have opportunities to use a variety of other digital engineering tools and software to support the design & coordination processes.

You will manage models from set up, view & sheet creation through to final issue with incorporated asset data, input COBie, IFC & Uniclass into models as and when required as per the Project BIM Execution Plan and Exchange Information Requirements. Where models are produced by engineers you will review the models, run clash detection and provide reports to engineers to aid coordination.

You will contribute to our automation developments for Revit & BIM by submitting ideas to our in‑house digital team to be developed and incorporated into our standard ways of working, helping to drive forward Cundall’s automation and improving business efficiency.

You will write and review project BIM Execution Plans, detailing the responsibilities, processes and deliverables of the design team through the project lifecycle.

The Skills

You will have a background in building services and experience with mechanical, electrical & public health disciplines, educated ideally to HNC level or higher within the subject. You will have gained strong practical experience of BIM and using Revit in a similar role within the industry, working either at consultancy or specialist MEP contractors.

You will understand how to utilise Autodesk Forma alongside Revit for model management and clash detection, and how to use Navisworks for clash detection for MEP services against various other disciplines and trades.

You will be able to work to Cundall standards and templates, producing models and drawings independently and from mark‑ups as required (sketches and Bluebeam PDFs). You will also produce MEP services models & drawings that are coordinated and fit within the constraints of the building layout on various projects.

You have an understanding of the RIBA plan of works and BSRIA BG6, the various stages included in these, and the level of detail needed for each stage. You appreciate the key processes of ISO 19650.

You are adept at planning and organising your workload alongside other BIM managers, and communicating effectively with engineers, technicians and BIM leads. You have proven experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines and share Cundall’s passion for creative, sustainable and intuitive design.

You will need to communicate in Polish and English.
