Job summary

The Crowd is seeking a BIM Manager for its Los Angeles office to lead digital delivery on large architectural projects. You will guide project teams, implement standards, and ensure high-quality BIM workflows in collaboration with architects and consultants.

With 5+ years of BIM management experience and expert Revit skills, you will mentor staff, set up models, manage federated environments, and drive continuous improvement across the studio.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years BIM management experience on mid- to large-scale architectural projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and cloud-based collaboration.
• Knowledge of model federation, clash detection, and BIM quality control.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhino.
• Experience establishing BIM standards and workflows.
• Strong communication skills for diverse teams.
• Ability to train staff and provide day-to-day technical support.
• Organized, proactive, and adaptable to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM setup, coordination, and digital delivery across projects.
• Establish and maintain BIM workflows, standards, and execution strategies with project leadership.
• Set up and manage Revit models, including linked files, shared coordinates, worksets, model federation, and cloud collaboration.
• Monitor model quality and compliance, resolving issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate BIM workflows between internal teams, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings and provide technical guidance on model integration.
• Develop project-specific BIM content and resources to support design teams.
• Provide hands-on support to architects and designers, troubleshooting software and workflow challenges.
• Deliver training and guidance to staff to improve BIM knowledge and software capabilities.
• Contribute to BIM best practices and resources across the wider studio.

The Crowd is partnering with a leading, high-profile global design practice who are looking for a BIM Manager to join their team-oriented Los Angeles office. In this role, you will provide hands-on guidance and technical expertise to support the delivery of large-scale projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished BIM professional to take ownership of project-level digital workflows, working closely with architects and the wider project team to establish efficient processes and maintain high standards across complex projects. Alongside project responsibilities and supported by the senior leadership team you will contribute to wider BIM initiatives, staff training and the continued development of digital design capabilities of the practice.

The successful candidate will be highly proficient in Revit and will enjoy training and mentoring team members with varying levels of technical experience, as well as working collaboratively with project teams to embed best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills / Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience applying BIM management processes within mid- to large-scale architectural projects
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and experience with cloud-based project collaboration platforms
• Strong understanding of model federation, coordination, clash detection, model health, and BIM quality control
• Experience working across Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhino
• Experience establishing BIM standards and workflows and supporting project teams in their implementation
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to users with varying levels of experience
• Comfortable leading software training and providing day-to-day technical support
• Highly organized and methodical, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and digital workflows
