Qualifications

Description:

Our interdisciplinary design firm is seeking a BIM Manager to lead modeling and digital practice excellence across complex projects. This role involves overseeing BIM workflows, coordinating model federation, providing technical support and training to project teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and firm protocols. The position requires advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, along with progressive experience in BIM/3D modeling and proven leadership skills to manage multidisciplinary teams and drive technological innovation effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage project BIM teams, coordinating with multidisciplinary consultants, attending project kick-off meetings to advise on BIM implementation, and contributing to contract BIM deliverable expectations.
  • Provide technical support, training, troubleshooting, and mentoring to project teams on BIM tools including Revit, Dynamo, and related software applications.
  • Develop and maintain BIM content including Revit families, templates, schedules, data definitions, and firmwide standards to ensure consistent and efficient project workflows.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews, troubleshoot complex model issues, perform performance audits, and develop automated model-health dashboards to ensure model quality and project delivery excellence.
  • Manage cloud-based delivery platforms, coordinate software updates, and collaborate with IT teams and internal developers to create automation tools that enhance project workflows.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve existing BIM workflows and capabilities, evaluate emerging technologies including AI-enabled tools, and drive technological innovation across the practice.
Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in BIM software (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo) and related 3D modeling/visualization tools.
  • Scripting and automation skills (Python, C#, Dynamo, Grasshopper) for developing custom workflows and solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors.
  • Experience with cloud-based delivery platforms.
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000.
