Job summary

ABLe Communications, Inc. seeks an experienced BIM Manager to lead a team of BIM Coordinators and support the Low Voltage Construction group.

You will develop data-enriched models for new and renovation projects, focusing on structured cabling and pathway systems, ensuring coordination and constructability across project teams. You will coordinate with field teams, support project milestones, and drive BIM standards and practices on site.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years BIM coordination experience focused on electrical or low voltage systems.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks and BlueBeam.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD as a supplemental tool (not primary).
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and modeling standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• MUST have strong understanding of Pathway systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D models using Revit, Navisworks, and BlueBeam.
• Model and coordinate low voltage systems (including structured cabling) per contract docs, BICSI, and NEC standards.
• Work under the direction of the Project Manager and Project Supervisor to support project milestones.
• Perform clash detection in Navisworks and coordinate resolutions across multiple trades.
• Follow the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and all established project workflows.
• Assist in improving BIM standards, templates, and modeling practices.
• Participate in on-site job walks and field visits to verify constructability and confirm BIM models reflect site conditions.
• Collaborate with field teams and project supervisors to validate design intent and resolve discrepancies in real time.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead a team of BIM Coordinators and support our Low Voltage Construction team. You will focus on low voltage systems—including structured cabling, low voltage pathway systems, and communications room elevations-ensuring accurate coordination and constructability across project teams.

Compensation

Base Salary: $90,000-$105,000 annually, commensurate with experience
