Humphreys & Partners Architects is seeking a BIM Manager to join our team. The Firmwide BIM Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the firm’s BIM standards, tools, training, and support processes. This position works with architectural leadership to improve model quality, staff competency, project delivery, and production efficiency across the firm.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a firmwide BIM onboarding and continuing education program.
- Establish, document, and maintain BIM standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Create and maintain Revit templates, families, detail libraries, shared parameters, and related content.
- Develop and maintain a standard Project BIM Execution Plan and support project teams with implementation.
- Assist with project startup, including model structure, work-sharing, consultant coordination, shared coordinates, and Autodesk Construction Cloud setup.
- Conduct periodic model audits and help project teams address model performance, compliance, and coordination issues.
- Serve as the firm’s subject matter expert for Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD, and related BIM tools.
- Lead the firmwide BIM Help Desk and identify recurring training or workflow issues.
- Collaborate with architectural, production, technical, and information technology leadership to improve project delivery.
- Identify and implement automated workflows and technology improvements that increase efficiency and document quality.
- Evaluate new software, add-ins, and workflows before firmwide implementation.
- Assist Architectural Leadership and Human Resources in evaluating BIM skills during hiring.
- Remain current on BIM best practices, software developments, and emerging technologies.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in architectural practice.
- At least 5 years of experience in BIM management, coordination, or digital practice.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Demonstrated experience developing BIM standards, templates, content, and project workflows.
- Strong understanding of architectural documentation, consultant coordination, and project delivery.
- Strong training, communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Ability to support multiple offices and project teams.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 15%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional architectural license or equivalent depth of experience in architectural project delivery.
- Experience supervising BIM staff or leading firmwide initiatives.
- Experience with Dynamo, automation, scripting, or data-management tools.
