Job summary

Hoffman Construction is seeking a BIM Modeling & Detailing Lead within the VDC Department to translate design intent into constructible 3D models and shop drawings in Seattle, WA. You will develop LOD 400 fabrication models, support quantity take-offs, lead cross-trade BIM coordination with field crews, and drive model accuracy and constructability on self-perform scopes.

The role requires 5+ years in the AEC industry, proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Forma, and strong English

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the AEC industry (architecture, engineering, or construction).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage LOD 400 fabrication-quality 3D models across self-perform scopes.
• Produce accurate shop drawings for field use from drawings, models, and specs.
• Manage 3D models to support QTOs and material tracking.
• Coordinate with field crews to ensure constructability and progress in BIM workflows.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings with project teams and external partners.
• Support integration of VDC technologies into project planning and scheduling.
