Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Lead BIM Modeler to drive 3D modeling, coordination, and documentation for electrical projects in Portland. You’ll develop and manage Revit models, produce drawing packages, and coordinate designs across multiple trades while supporting field teams with layout and prefabrication efforts.

Strong leadership and Navisworks expertise are essential. Experience mentoring a BIM team and implementing BIM standards will set you apart, along with familiarity with Evolve Electrical,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience using Revit for BIM modeling and construction documentation.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or managing a team of BIM professionals on multiple projects.

Job description

• 5+ years of experience using Revit for BIM modeling and construction documentation (advanced modeling functions including families, schedules, sheets, and views)
• Experience leading, managing, or mentoring a team of 2-4 BIM professionals while supporting multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong experience with Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working for an electrical contractor or supporting electrical construction projects
• Experience with Evolve Electrical, Stratus, Bluebeam, and/or other project management and coordination tools
• Experience with laser scanning and converting scan data into 3D models
• Experience supporting field layout, prefabrication, or Total Station workflows
• Experience developing BIM standards, processes, and training programs for team members
