Job summary

Garver's Water Design Center in Greenville, SC seeks a BIM Intern to develop 3D Revit models and prepare plans, sections, and details using Revit and AutoCAD. You will collaborate with technicians, designers, and project managers to deliver coordinated design documents.

This in-office program provides hands-on BIM training, exposure to industry processes, and opportunities to grow through Garver Launch activities, wellness programs, volunteering, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates must be pursuing a CAD associates degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D Revit models.
• Create plans, sections, and details in Revit and AutoCAD software.
• Work as a team player with technicians and designers across disciplines and with project managers to execute projects.
• Arrange resources for file sharing and communication to share design files across the company or with clients and contractors.
• Maintain strong communication with engineers and project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects and avoid conflicts.
• QA/QC and ensure all projects adhere to CAD/BIM standards.

• Develop 3D Revit models
• Create plans, sections, and details in Revit and AutoCAD software
• Work as a team player with a group of technicians and designers, of various levels and disciplines (process, structural, mechanical, electrical etc.) and working with Project Managers and design teams to execute projects
• Arrange necessary resources for file sharing and communication to effectively share design files across the company or with clients, sub consultants, and contractors
• Maintain strong communication with engineers and project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects and avoid any potential project conflicts
• QA/QC and ensure that all projects adhere to company CAD/BIM standards

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Work Environment

This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting.
