Job summary

Valor Contracting is seeking a BIM Engineer to lead BIM and VDC initiatives across commercial construction projects. You will coordinate architectural, structural, civil, and MEP systems, drive clash detection, create visualizations, and support early estimation with model-based takeoffs.

The role requires 3+ years in BIM/VDc, strong Revit/AutoCAD/BIM 360 skills, and collaboration with project teams to improve delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BIM, VDC, design coordination, or construction technology experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience coordinating commercial construction projects using model based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage BIM models throughout design and construction.
• Coordinate systems to identify and resolve design conflicts before field installation.
• Create and maintain construction phasing plans, logistics simulations, site utilization models, and visual project sequencing.
• Provide training and support on BIM platforms and VDC best practices.
• Maintain model integrity and project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
