Job summary

Wayne Brothers, Inc is seeking a full-time BIM Engineer for Structures to join our Davidson, NC office. The role focuses on creating and coordinating constructible 3D models for concrete, rebar, formwork and embedded items in collaboration with concrete construction experts.

The candidate will work under the Manager of Virtual Design, coordinating model elements and ensuring project coordination and client communication.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or 2-year degree plus applicable experience.
• Experience with Tekla Structures (Preferred)
• Experience with construction estimating and/or detailing (Preferred)
• Proficiency with the Windows environment (Required)

Responsibilities

• Generate BIM models and coordinates for concrete, rebar, formwork and embedded items.
• Collaborate with design managers and project teams for effective model creation and usage in the field.
• Attend trainings and report learnings to team members.
• Coordinate with Project Engineering/Management and Virtual Construction groups to incorporate changes during construction.
• Detail rebar, formwork, structural steel and other embedded items as required.
