Job summary

TSMC Arizona seeks a BIM Engineer to design and optimize semiconductor FAB projects using BIM tools. You will create accurate 3D models, manage tool layouts, and verify on-site conditions against the federated model.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across global FAB expansions, ensuring compliance with regional standards and timelines while maintaining high QA/QC. International travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or related engineering field.
• 1–3 years modeling experience, or 1+ year in semiconductor construction.
• Proficiency with Autodesk BIM tools and coordination workflows.
• Willingness to travel internationally to support global projects.
• Strong collaboration and communication across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop precise 3D BIM models and manage tool layouts for new FAB designs.
• Conduct field observations and verify conditions against the 3D model.
• Assign facility ports to semiconductor tools and ensure alignment with specs.
• Coordinate across tool engineering, Facility, IT, and AMHS teams.
• Improve design workflows to reduce cycle times and QAQC issues.
• Support FAB projects in multiple regions and ensure compliance with standards.
• Track progress, identify issues, and elevate risks to leadership.
• Use Navisworks for clash detection and coordinate resolutions.
• Maintain detailed design documentation per project standards.
