Job summary

TSMC AZ seeks a BIM Engineer to design and optimize semiconductor FAB projects using BIM tools, creating precise 3D models and tool layouts for complex facilities around the world.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory and regional standards, and drive design workflows for efficiency and quality. On-site Phoenix work and international travel are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of modeling experience, or 1 year in semiconductor construction.
• Proficiency in BIM software including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
• Willingness to travel internationally for project needs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D BIM models and tool layouts for FAB projects.
• Coordinate with tool engineering, facility, IT, and AMHS teams.
• Perform clash detection and ensure QAQC of design documents.
• Track progress and elevate issues to team leadership.
• Maintain design documentation to project standards.
