Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Design Technician to develop electrical design models and construction drawings for complex energy projects. You will coordinate BIM models in Revit and CAD with electrical engineers, designers, and project teams to deliver accurate, constructible 3D models and drawing packages.

This position supports a variety of multi‑sector clients, offers collaborative, hands‑on work, and a hybrid work policy across Jacobs offices nationwide.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Proven experience producing complex BIM models and construction drawings in an engineering or consulting environment
• Strong understanding of electrical equipment, systems, and layouts
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Proven work ethic and ability to meet project schedules and requirements
• Clear communication and collaboration skills
