Job summary

Pennoni is hiring for an Engineering Technician / BIM Designer to join our team on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Clearwater, FL. This role focuses on contributing to structural engineering and design projects by creating models and deliverables using BIM tools.

The position requires at least a High School Diploma and 2 years of drafting/design experience, preferably in structural engineering. Proficiency with CADD/BIM tools, including Revit, is strongly preferred, along with solid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• 2 years of professional experience working in Design and/or Drafting (preferably with Structural Engineering projects).
• Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Design Technology, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of structural drawings for submittal and production purposes.
• Collaborate as part of a team to develop structural construction documentation; this includes working with internal team members as well as external clients / partners.
• Create 3D models by utilizing relevant data.
• Additional duties may be assigned, as needed.
