Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a BIM Designer to join our Dallas, TX office. You will develop and coordinate BIM models for a range of construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.

Responsibilities include creating Revit models, managing central models, coordinating with project teams, supporting clash detection with Navisworks, and applying ACC for collaboration, all while maintaining proper documentation.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year Revit/BIM or 5+ years in electrical construction.
• Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Ability to use Bluebeam for review and collaboration.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving.
• Willingness to work onsite and travel 5-10%.
• Experience in healthcare, commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Familiarity with ACC preferred.

Description

As a BIM Designer at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Director of VDC/BIM Services, you will have the opportunity to support the development and coordination of BIM models for a wide range of construction projects. This role focuses on accurate model creation, adherence to project standards, and collaboration with project teams to ensure constructability and timely delivery of design outputs.

• Modeling & Documentation: Develop and maintain Revit models and associated documentation. Set up and manage Revit central models, sheets, views, legends, and schedules. Import and manage Revit families, filters, and linked coordination files. Prepare and issue project drawings, revisions, and final record drawings.

• Coordination & Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams to align BIM models with construction requirements. Support clash detection and resolution using Navisworks. Coordinate layouts for equipment, conduits, cable trays, and electrical elements per NEC standards. Provide prefabrication-ready models and export layout files for field use.

• Standards & Compliance: Apply company BIM standards, templates, and file management protocols. Audit and maintain project folders, ensuring version control and data accuracy. Ensure models meet project specifications and industry standards for constructability.

• Technical Support: Support field and VDC teams with accurate layout files and coordinated models. Use Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for collaboration and model synchronization. Assist in resolving model issues and updating clash reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• 1+ years of Revit/BIM experience or 5+ years in electrical construction.

• Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Navisworks or similar.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)

• Ability to use Bluebeam for document review and collaboration

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Willingness to work onsite as needed and travel 5-10%

• Experience in healthcare, commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects preferred

• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) preferred
