Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an experienced BIM Designer to own Revit and 3D modelling for large-scale architectural projects in Gary, Indiana. You will drive front-end scoping, estimation and construction planning, while guiding the team on BIM best practices.

• Strong experience in Revit, BIM and 3D modelling in construction/architecture environments.

Salary: USD40 - USD48 per day + + ESOP + Heatlhcare + Bonus

Are you an experienced BIM Designer or similar looking to take ownership of Revit and 3D modelling within a highly respected an unique architectural construction business and help shape how complex projects are modelled and delivered?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected, employee-focused organisation where you will play a key role in developing and strengthening its Revit/BIM capability. The business is investing heavily in 3D modelling as part of its front-end project process, using BIM to support scoping, estimating, coordination and understanding how complex construction elements will come together before work reaches site.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a BIM design function working with Revit and 3D modelling and would enjoy working on very bespoke commercial architactural structures for a specialist firm in their field.

THE ROLE:

• Take ownership of Revit and BIM modelling, developing accurate 3D models to support front-end project scoping, estimating and construction planning.


• Work closely with estimating, design and project teams to understand how complex façade, curtain wall and other construction elements integrate within a project.


• Help develop and improve Revit/BIM workflows, standards and processes, supporting the transition from traditional AutoCAD drafting towards more advanced 3D BIM delivery.


• Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentoring to existing drafting/design personnel, helping to strengthen the company's overall Revit and 3D modelling capability.

THE PERSON:

• Strong professional experience in Revit, BIM and 3D modelling, ideally within construction, architecture, engineering, façade, curtain wall or a related environment.


• Proven ability to develop complex 3D models and work closely with estimating, design or project teams to support project scoping and understand how designs translate into construction.


• Confident communicator with experience supporting, mentoring or training other designers/drafters, able to act as the technical Revit/BIM point of contact within the business.


• Strong problem-solving and process-improvement mindset, with a relevant degree or professional qualification desirable; more experienced candidates may be considered for a more senior position, with salary reflecting experience and capability.
