Job summary

Insight Global seeks a BIM Designer to join our growing construction support team. The role focuses on Revit modeling and BIM coordination across commercial and healthcare projects onsite in Addison, IL or Tampa, FL.

Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and design teams will drive constructible models for successful delivery. Ideal candidates bring strong Revit experience, a background in building construction or MEP environments, and a passion for cross-disciplinary problem solving

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Revit experience in construction, architecture, engineering, MEP, or related environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain BIM models using Revit.
• Perform BIM modeling, drafting, and design coordination.
• Conduct model reviews, clash detection, and coordination using Navisworks.
• Create and maintain Revit families.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Support quantity extraction and model-based reporting.
• Utilize Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360) and Bluebeam to support project execution.
• Ensure designs are accurate, coordinated, and ready for construction.

Location: Addison, IL (Onsite) or Tampa, FL (Onsite)

Compensation: $50-$60/hr (based on experience)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract

About the Role

We are seeking a BIM Designer to join a growing team supporting commercial and healthcare construction projects. This role is heavily focused on Revit and BIM coordination, working closely with project managers, engineers, and design teams to develop accurate, constructible models that support successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong Revit experience, a background in building construction or MEP environments, and enjoys collaborating across multiple disciplines to solve design challenges.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with BIM modeling and design coordination
• Experience using Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and/or BIM 360
• Experience using Bluebeam
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of construction workflows and project coordination processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or healthcare construction projects
• Experience creating custom Revit families
• Autodesk certifications
• Experience with quantity takeoffs and model-based quantity extraction
• Experience developing BIM standards and best practices
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary coordination efforts
