Job summary

McMillan Pazdan Smith is seeking a Design Technology Support Specialist to provide responsive project-level technical support for BIM and digital delivery initiatives. The role partners with the Design Technology Manager to support Revit, Autodesk Forma, and related tools, aligning standards and workflows to optimize project delivery.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in the AEC industry with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to solving complex design-technology

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience in the AEC industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, architectural technology, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Revit worksharing, linked models, Autodesk Forma workflows, model audits, and project upgrades.
• Practical experience implementing BIM standards, project workflows, and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and support Autodesk and related design technology applications including Revit, Forma, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and visualization tools.
• Serve as the first point of contact for project level design technology support requests.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of design technology standards, technical documentation, processes, best practices, and workflows.
• Create, manage, and support Autodesk Forma projects including project setup, member management, permissions, model coordination, and data integration.
• Promote adoption of BIM and digital delivery best practices through training, mentoring, and project support.
