Job summary

McMillan Pazdan Smith is seeking a Design Technology Support Specialist to provide responsive project level technical support for BIM and digital practice initiatives. You will partner with the Design Technology Manager to support Revit, Autodesk Forma, and related design tech while helping teams implement standards and optimize workflows.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping teams work

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years in the AEC industry experience preferred.
• Experience supporting Revit worksharing, linked models, and upgrades.
• Familiarity with Forma workflows and cloud-based project delivery.
• Ability to implement BIM standards and project workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-team support.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Autodesk and related design tech apps including Revit and Forma.
• Serve as the first point of contact for design technology support requests.
• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Create and support Autodesk Forma projects, including permissions and data integration.
• Assist with project startup activities, upgrades, and archiving.
• Monitor model health and identify performance improvements.
• Develop and maintain Revit templates, families, and content libraries.
• Promote BIM and digital delivery best practices through training.
• Coordinate with Design Technology Manager to test new software and workflows.
