Securitas Technology in Elmsford, NY, is seeking an Engineer to join the Security Technology group. You will work with BIM Manager and Systems Engineers to create a 3D model of integrated security designs and prepare submittals for client approval in accordance with project specs and codes.

You will develop detailed 3D and 2D drawings using Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks, perform clash detection, maintain BIM libraries, and ensure models comply with BIM standards while coordinating with

Competenze

• BS in EE Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Security engineering experience is preferred but not required.
• Computer skills include Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and MS Office.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards
• AC and DC circuitry, voltage drop calculations and wire sizing
• Basic knowledge of network and system security principles
• Executing enterprise engineering techniques
• Proven experience managing workload and pressure situations.

Mansioni

• Create a 3D model of the integrated security systems design submittal for approval by the customer or representative and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, codes, and regulations.
• Develop detailed design schematic and review 2D and 3D drawings for electronic and electrical products.
• Prepare design submittals (drawings, bill of materials, calculations, as-builts, etc.) and maintain the submittal during changes to the contract.
• Work closely with BIM Manager, System’s design engineers, designers and engineers to ensure coordination.
• Perform clash detection analyses and generate clash reports for project meetings.
• Ensure models comply with project BIM standards and maintain BIM libraries.
• Contribute to BIM Standards development and best practices within the organization.
• Manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with peers.
