Job summary

Stantec is seeking a BIM Coordinator in Chicago to steer the transition from CAD to Revit and deliver true BIM deliverables. You will coach engineers on BIM implementation, support cross-team BIM software usage, and uphold BIM standards across projects.

The role requires advanced Revit proficiency, collaboration with internal/external teams, and mentoring on BIM procedures. On-site position with a comprehensive benefits package and pay range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in AEC related field (preferred).
• 3+ years BIM production experience in Architecture/Engineering (required).
• Autodesk Revit Certified Professional (preferred).
• CSI Construction Document Technologist Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Set up projects for the team and ensure compliance with delivery and BIM standards.
• Coordinate with design teams to identify improvements and communicate procedural changes.
• Perform model audits and checks for compliance with the BIM Execution Plan.
• Coordinate and manage BIM models across disciplines.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create and manage Revit families and content libraries.
• Assist in BIM project execution planning at kickoff and milestones.
• Provide final QA on models and drawings with discipline leads.
