PositionSummary

TheBIMCoordinator/ProjectEngineersupportsprojectteamsbymanagingBuildingInformationModeling(BIM)programsandfiles,developingmodels,maintainingprojectdocumentation,conductingquantitysurveys,andperformingengineeringanalysis.Thisrolehelpsensureprojectsareconstructedusingthemostcurrentplansandspecificationswhilemeetingestablishedqualityassuranceandqualitycontrol(QA/QC)standards.Workingcloselywithbothofficeandfieldteams,theBIMCoordinator/ProjectEngineeralsoprovidestechnicalsupportandtrainingonGPSequipmentandsoftware,whileoverseeingthemanagementandmaintenanceofprojectGPSsystems.

PositionDescription

• SupportprojectteamsbymanagingBIMfiles,projectdocumentation,andquantitycontrolstoensureaccuracyandefficiencythroughoutconstruction.
• Reviewandanalyzeinformationfromsiteinspections,contractdrawings,specifications,proposals,andotherprojectdocuments.
• Conductearthworkquantitystudiesandsupportpreconstructionactivities,includingquantitytakeoffsandidentifyingpotentialprojectrisks.
• UtilizeAutodeskCivil3D,TrimbleBusinessCenter,andothersoftwaretodevelopmodels,surfaces,andlineworkformachineguidanceandsurveyingequipment,ensuringfielddataisaccurate,constructible,andalignedwithprojectplans.
• Identifydesignconflicts,discrepancies,andambiguities,collaboratingwithProjectEngineersandProjectManagerstodevelopRequestsforInformation(RFIs)andresolveplaninconsistencies.
• UpdateandmaintainprojectmodelstoreflectdesignrevisionsandchangesprovidedbyProjectManagersandProjectEngineers.
• Maintainorganizedprojectfilesinaccordancewithestablishednamingconventionsandversioncontrolprocedures.
• Developprojectexhibitsandvisualdocumentationtosupportconstructionplanningandexecution.
• Conductdroneflightstocapturetopographicsurveydataandsupportquantitycalculations.
• Prepareaccurateas-builtdrawingsusingtopographicdatacollectedfromprojectsites.
• Provideadditionalengineeringandtechnicalsupporttoprojectmanagementteamsasneeded.
• Travelasneeded,upto20%ofthetime.
