Job summary

Advastar, Inc. is seeking a BIM Specialist in the Phoenix area to own the final production-readiness of Revit content. You will polish families, enforce naming/naming conventions, and ensure consistency across the organization for reliable downstream use.

The role focuses on producing quality BIM content rather than project design, with hands-on Revit work and QA/QC alignment for the master library across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on creation and editing of MEP Revit families.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, templates, and content/library management.
• Track record of detail-driven, process-based content cleanup work.

Responsibilities

• Finalize and refine Revit families so they are ready for production use company-wide.
• Standardize parameters, types, and naming so content behaves predictably for every user.
• Bring content into alignment with established BIM standards and templates.
• Prepare finalized families for QA/QC testing and integrate approved content into the master build template.
• Resolve content issues in coordination with the broader BIM team.
• Keep the production library clean, consistent, and trustworthy as the single source of truth.
