Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Construction Technology (BIM) Manager for a Data Center project in Goodyear, AZ. You will lead construction technology services, coordinating design, modeling, and deliverables with design partners, trade partners, and internal teams.

You will manage a team, drive process improvements, develop proposals, and provide constructability analysis, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality goals are met across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of five years in a Construction Technology role or equivalent.
• Travel required; ability to transport at least 50 pounds; relocation may be needed.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling, drafting, visualization, LiDAR/SLAM, and related tools.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and knowledge of construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to construction technology services across project life cycle.
• Evaluate designs and schedules to identify opportunities and risks.
• Set project-level goals for processes, messaging, and timelines.
• Develop, document, and implement new technical processes and services.
• Resolve competing stakeholder interests and produce estimates.
• Prepare technical proposals and presentations for pursuits.
• Review and edit graphic communication media for clarity and completeness.
• Manage and mentor junior staff.
• Audit 3D models from design and trade partners to assess risk; construct 3D models as needed.
