Job summary

Electra Link, Inc. in Dallas seeks an experienced AutoCAD / BIM Designer to develop detailed 3D BIM models and drawings for complex technology and construction projects.You will collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy and constructability.

Requirements include at least two years of AutoCAD professional experience, strong 3D BIM modeling skills, and experience with Autodesk Revit. On-site role in Dallas with engaging multi-trade coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional AutoCAD experience.
• Experience creating and modifying 2D and 3D construction drawings.
• Strong understanding of three-dimensional design and spatial coordination.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, and construction drawings.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate 3D BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Create and maintain drawings per project requirements and company standards.
• Develop 3D designs considering spatial relationships and installability.
• Coordinate BIM models with architectural, electrical, mechanical, and other trades.
• Coordinate project models, identify conflicts, and revise with teams.
• Produce layouts, plans, details, and construction drawings.
• Interpret specifications and field information; maintain drawing files.
• Incorporate revisions from managers, engineers, and customers.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
