Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks a Trimble Operator to support its mechanical layout team on complex construction projects. You will perform high-precision layout using Trimble equipment and BIM/CAD references to maintain tight tolerances across phases.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of layout experience, strong Trimble Field Link/Access skills, and a solid understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems. This role requires collaboration with field teams, VDC/BIM, and project partners.

What You’ll Do

• Perform high-precision layout for sleeves, inserts, hangers, and equipment
• Operate Trimble robotic total stations using Field Link/Access
• Work from BIM models, CAD drawings, and coordinated documents
• Maintain ±1/8” accuracy across all phases of construction
• Collaborate with field teams, VDC/BIM, and project partners

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of mechanical layout experience
• Strong Trimble Field Link (and/or Access) skills
• Deep understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems
• Ability to read Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD models
• Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-driven
