The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Reimbursable Billing Technician (RBT) at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center CPAC, aligned under the COO, to help maximize revenue and ensure accurate patient billing.

Qualified applicants have at least one year of specialized federal billing experience and can analyze complex cases, gather information, apply guidelines, and resolve billing, eligibility, insurance, and service questions for patients and customers.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in Federal Service that includes: providing accurate and timely billing and collection activities to be completed in accordance with prescribed policies, regulations and laws.
• Performs analysis of complex problems, gathers information, establishes facts, and takes or recommends actions based on established guidelines.
