Job summary

Xcell Orthopaedics Physical Therapy (XOPT) in the Rio Grande Valley is seeking a Billing Specialist to keep our revenue cycle smooth and efficient. You will submit claims, verify coverage, post payments, and support credentialing.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of medical billing experience, a high school diploma, and strong knowledge of verification, posting, appeals, and credentialing. Bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on experience in medical billing.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required (Higher education is a plus).
• Strong understanding of insurance verification, payment posting, appeals, and credentialing processes.
• Adaptability: multitask, manage time efficiently, and excel in a fast-paced setting.
• Note: Bilingual ability is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities
