Job summary

7Seventy is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage mental health billing and accounts receivable for a select group of customers. You will oversee insurance claims from start to finish, maintain customer A/R, and resolve complex billing issues with professionalism.

About the Role

This opportunity is for a Billing Specialist responsible for managing mental health billing and accounts receivable for an assigned group of customers. The position manages insurance claims from start to finish, maintains assigned customer A/R, researches complex claims issues, and works toward accurate and timely resolution throughout the billing lifecycle.

The role requires prior mental health billing experience, strong organizational ability, intermediate spreadsheet skills, and professional customer communication. The successful candidate will develop working relationships with assigned customers, communicate promptly regarding billing matters, and research complex claims issues, including working directly with insurance companies when necessary.

What You'll Do

• Manage insurance claims from start to finish as part of the revenue cycle services function.
• Manage accounts receivable for a small set of assigned customers within the EHR.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with assigned customers.
• Research and resolve complex claims issues.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with customers regarding billing and claims matters.
• Work with insurance companies to address and resolve claims-related issues when necessary.
• Identify efficient ways to manage billing work while maintaining accurate and responsive customer service.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• 2+ years of prior experience in mental health billing.

Required Skills

• Strong organizational skills for managing claims, customer accounts, and billing responsibilities.
• Intermediate spreadsheet skills, including data manipulation and pivot tables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally with customers.
