• Be a friendly, knowledgeable voice for patients with billing questions, in person and by phone.
• Set up payment plans and provide Good Faith Estimates for self-pay patients.
• Follow up on unpaid claims, including workers’ compensation, and help resolve denials.
• Manage monthly patient statements and the past-due account process.
• Process refunds and credit balances.
• Pitch in at the front desk when the team needs an extra hand
