Job summary

Dynamic Engineering is a nationally recognized multidisciplinary consulting firm seeking a Billing Specialist to process invoices, respond to invoice queries, manage billing corrections, and support special billing projects.

The role interfaces with project managers and clients, maintains contracts and change orders, and ensures timely, accurate invoicing. Strong communication and organizational skills are required; Deltek experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field, equivalent experience considered.
• Understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
• Ability to communicate with project managers and clients via phone and email.
• Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail, analytical, multitasking, and judgment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Well organized with high attention to detail; self-starter with professional presence.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines; strong follow-up skills.
• Experience with contracts/proposals related to professional services preferred.
• Discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provides project accounting support from initial project setup to client invoicing.
• Maintains contracts, signed proposals, purchase orders and change orders.
• Interfaces with project managers and clients regarding contracts, monthly billings, payments, and reports.
• Reviews and processes a large volume of project invoices for billing and contractual compliance.
• Contacts clients for payment collection as needed.
• Resolves invoice-related issues with project managers and clients.
• Performs other duties as requested.

The Billing Specialist is responsible for processing invoices, responding to invoice queries, managing billing corrections and completing billing related special projects.

• Provides project accounting support services from initial project setup to executing client invoices
• Maintains executed contracts, signed proposals, purchase orders and change orders
• Interfaces with project managers and clients regarding contracts, monthly billings, payments, and other project-related financial processes and reports
• Reviews, processes and accounts for a large volume of project-related invoices for billing preparation and execution, ensuring contractual compliance, accurate project setup and timely invoicing
• Contacts clients for collection of payment as needed
• Researches and resolves invoice-related issues with both project managers and clients
• Performs other duties as requested
• Associate degree in Accounting or a related field; equivalent experience considered

• Experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint is a plus, but not required

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000. The posted salary range reflects the anticipated hiring range for the position at the time of posting. Starting compensation will be determined based on an individual's qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
