Job summary

Cerity Partners seeks a Billing & Revenue Manager to oversee day-to-day billing accuracy and revenue management while guiding a team of eight professionals. You will lead merger-related billing workstreams, drive process improvements, and partner with Finance, Technology, and business teams to support growth.

This senior role emphasizes a hands-on approach to complex billing issues, automation opportunities, and strong internal controls in a growing financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in billing, revenue management, or related finance, incl. 3+ years in people mgmt.
• Experience in wealth/investment management environment.
• Hands-on Orion billing platform experience including configuring fee schedules.
• Track record supporting mergers, conversions, system implementations or other significant changes.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Experience partnering with Technology on system enhancements, testing, automation, and implementation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day billing and revenue management activities with accuracy and strong internal controls.
• Lead billing workstream for mergers from pre-close due diligence to post-close integration.
• Coach and develop a team of eight, managing performance and workload.
• Own complex billing issues and escalations, driving timely resolution.
• Partner with advisors, client-facing colleagues, and Finance/Technology teams on initiatives affecting billing.
• Lead through organizational change and drive scalable process improvements.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate processes to improve efficiency.
