Job summary

Elevation Individual and Family Therapy, PLLC seeks a Billing Specialist to support revenue operations focused on Medicaid and commercial billing. The role requires strong accuracy, problem-solving, and experience working across multiple billing platforms.

The ideal candidate will manage communications with pay sources, submit billing rosters for Medicaid and MCOs, verify insurance benefits, and maintain meticulous records to help improve financial performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of revenue cycle management experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective communication to pay sources and clients regarding billing needs.
• Correspond with EAPs and insurance payers about claim processing and payment.
• Respond to internal and external emails within 24–48 hours.
• Maintain organized records of insurance and client payment documents.
• Provide reports to administrative team (outstanding balances, outstanding claims, EAP compliance).
• Oversee revenue cycle to maintain the company's financial health.
• Assist with insurance verification for clients.
• Manage debt collections and correspondence with third-party debt collectors.
• Submit billing rosters as required by Medicaid and MCOs.
• Assist with insurance credentialing needs with CEO approval.
• Other tasks as designated by CEO.
