Job summary

Ascension Health in Waco, TX is seeking a Revenue Cycle Management Billing professional to verify insurance coverage, obtain pre-authorizations, and clearly communicate financial responsibilities to patients and practitioners.

You will prepare and submit claims, research billing practices, and help resolve unbilled accounts to ensure accurate reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare billing, insurance verification or medical claims processing.
• Proficiency in navigating commercial insurance and Medicare or Medicaid reimbursement guidelines.
• Note: Education or experience can be substituted by licensure/certification where applicable.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences:

• Experience in healthcare billing, insurance verification or medical claims processing.
• Proficiency in navigating commercial insurance and Medicare or Medicaid reimbursement guidelines.
