The role partners with account management and accounting to coordinate terms, resolve issues, and maintain financial controls.

The ideal candidate has a background in accounting or finance, at least 2 years in billing or insurance operations, and familiarity with SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of billing, accounting, or insurance operations experience.
• Familiarity with insurance billing practices and premium financing.
• Knowledge of SOX controls or financial compliance processes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Invoice management: review and ensure accurate, timely delivery of client and carrier invoices.
• Coordinate billing allocations based on client and carrier instructions.
• Process fee agreements and manage internal fee allocations per requirements.
• Calculate and confirm surplus lines tax obligations according to state rules.
• Align with accounting on carrier payment terms and ensure smooth processing.
• Maintain SOX compliance documentation to support billing and audit needs.
• Identify and resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
• Request and obtain premium finance quotes for viable accounts.
